Travelers, it’s time to plan your 2026 getaways. Malacanang Palace released the List of Philippine Holidays 2026 on September 3, 2025.

The List of Philippine Holidays signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin is based on President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Proclamation No. 1006. These include Regular / Legal Holidays and Special (Non-Working) Days.
Identified in the proclamation are 10 regular or legal holidays, 4 special (non-working) days, and 4 additional special (non-working) days.

The EDSA People Power Revolution (February 25) is declared as “Special Working Day”. Thus, there will be work and classes on this date.
The Islamic holidays in the observance of Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha are not yet proclaimed. These holidays will be declared after the approximate date of these 2 holidays are known i accordance with the Islamic calendar (Hijra), lunar calendar or based on Islamic astronomical calculations whichever is appropriate.
Tasked to inform the Office of the President on the actual dates of these holidays is the National Commission of Muslim Filipinos.

August 21- 23: Ninoy Aquino (Friday), Saturday, Sunday
August 29-31: Saturday to Monday (Ninoy Aquino Day)
October 31- November 2: Saturday to Monday (All Saint’s Day/ All Souls’ Day)
December 24- 27: Thursday to Sunday (Christmas holidays)
December 30, 2026- January 3, 2027 (Thursday to Sunday) will also become a long weekend if New Years’ Day 2027 will be declared as Regular Holiday by the President.
