Cebu Pacific Prepaid Baggage Fees 2017: Domestic and International Flights

Traveling to your desired destination on board a Cebu Pacific flight? You might want to know the 2017 prepaid checked baggage fees and options of Cebu Pacific Air.

The Cebu Pacific baggage rates has increase this year. When passengers want to save on baggage prices, it is advisable to buy a prepaid baggage allowance where baggage fees are offered on discounted rates.

Prepaid checked baggage can be bought during ticket booking and up to 4 hours before the flight departure.

Below is the information on the 2017 checked baggage prices for domestic, short haul international flights and long haul international trips.

The Cebu Pacific prepaid checked baggage rate increase effective 2017.

The prepaid checked baggage price went a little up this year. For example, the 20 kilos prepaid baggage fee before was only P320, now it cost P380. Below are the new rates per weight baggage options.

 

Checked baggage prices and options for 2017- domestic trips

  • Small up to 15 kilos – P257.60
  • Standard up to 20 kilos – P380.80
  • Large up to 30 kilos – P784.00
  • Extra Large up to 40 kilos – P1,232.00 

Prepaid baggage rates and options for international (Short-Haul) flights

  • Small up to 15kgs – P600.00
  • Standard up to 20kgs – P850.00
  • Large up to 30kgs – P1,400
  • Extra Large up to 40kgs – P2,000

Short haul international flights are flights to other countries in which travel time is 6 hours or less (Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Bangkok, Korea, Singapore, and other nearer destinations).

Long haul international flights prepaid checked baggage

International long haul trips are flights to places like Sydney, Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Kuwait). Here are the latest Cebu Pacific checked baggage prices and options on long-haul flights.

  • Small up to 15kgs – P1,300.00
  • Standard up to 20kgs – P1,800
  • Large up to 30kgs – P2,800
  • Extra Large up to 40kgs – P3,800

Check-in bags should not exceed 30 kilos. In excess of 30 kilos, the extra content will be transfer to another checked in bag or to be hand carried.

The above shown baggage fees are the new prepaid  checked baggage prices of Cebu Pacific flights. Passengers can still enjoy the free hand carry 7 kilos of baggage.

Purchase of prepaid checked baggage allowance can be done during booking your ticket. In case you were not able to buy a baggage allowance at booking time, you can still get a prepaid baggage up to 4 hours before your flight schedule. All you need to do is go online at the website of Cebu Pacific Air: www.cebupacificair.com and click the “Manage Booking tab.

Prepaid baggage can be re-booked and upgraded. Only 1 prepaid baggage option per passenger is allowed. Any additional weight more than the purchased prepaid baggage will be payable at the standard excess baggage rate.

Infants 2 years or below are not allowed to buy prepaid checked baggage. However, an adult traveling with a baby will be allowed to bring 1 additional carry-on baby bag. A baby stroller can be also put as checked baggage free of charge.

There is no info yet on increase in domestic or international flights checked baggage fee when paid at the airport. At present 15 kilos domestic baggage cost P700. Excess baggage is at P200 per kilo.
