Cebu Pacific New Check-In Baggage Rules 2019

Heads up for travelers flying via Cebu Pacific Air! The budget airline has implemented new Check-in Baggage Policy.

As per advisory of Cebu Pacific, guests traveling on Cebgo flights will be able to buy limited numbers of large (32 kilos) and extra large (40 kilos) check-in baggage. This will also be available for passengers who have inter-connecting international trip with Cebu Pacific.

Cebu Pacific New Check-in Baggage Policies

In the same Advisory, the airline will also be enforcing the new Check-In Baggage Rules. Cebu Pacific will be strictly observing the number of pieces of check-in baggage based on the baggage weight allowance purchased by the passenger

For standard baggage allowance (20 kilos)– passenger may be able to bring up to 2 pieces of luggage

For large baggage (up to 32 kilos)– up to 3 pieces of baggage are allowed

Extra large baggage (up to 40 kilos)– up to 4 pieces of luggage is permitted.

According to Cebu Pacific, the new rules in check-in baggage is implemented in line with its’ continued efforts to streamline operations and to provide a more effective check-in experience at the airport.

Passengers on connecting flight with the same booking reference number shall be charged only once for their check baggage.

Piso Fare reminders: Take note that the maximum weight of each baggage is 32 kilos.

Cebu Pacific Cabin Baggage Allowance

Besides the check-in baggage allowance purchased, travelers will still enjoy up to 7 kilos of hand carry bag that fits in inside the overhead bins and 1 small bag that can fit under the seat.

Passengers with mobility assistive devices like wheelchairs and walking canes may still check in these devices for free. Likewise, guests flying with infants may still check in baby strollers for free.

How to Get Check-in Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance can be purchased

• During booking your ticket
• Up to 4 hours prior to flight departure via 1) Manage Booking tab of its’ booking website, 2) thru Cebu Pacific Reservation hotlines, 3) Cebu Pacific sales offices.

Less than 4 hours before scheduled departure, airport rate will be applied to excess baggage.
