To control the spread of corona virus disease (COVID-19), Cebu Pacific cancelled all its domestic and international flights from March 19 until April 14, 2020.
This is to support of the government’s implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine over Luzon and similar regulations in other provinces in the Philippines.
To ensure health and safety of passengers and personnel, Cebu Pacific ticket offices are closed from March 19 until April 14 and will re-open on April 15, 2020.
Passenger’s Options for Cancelled Cebu Pacific Flights
Passengers whose Cebu Pacific flight was cancelled due to COVID-19 community measures mandated by the Philippine government has the following options for their cancelled flights from March 15- April 14, 2020:
Rebook your Flight
One of the options to take if your flight is cancelled due to COVID- 19 prevention measure on spread of the virus, is by rebooking it. Flights may be rebooked until June 30, 2020 with waived rebooking/ change fee and fare difference.
Log in to www.cebupacificair.com and click “Manage Booking” tab. Use your GetGo account if you have one; otherwise, you may use your booking details.
Full ticket refund
Passengers may also opt for ticket refund. The reimbursement will depend on the mode of payment used in booking the ticket.
For payments made in cash thru Payment Centers and ticket offices, refund can be claimed at Cebu Pacific ticket offices which will re-open on April 15, 2020 in the Philippines. If paid thru travel agency/ group reservation, please contact your travel agency or group reservation coordinator and request them to process your refund.
For payments done thru credit card or debit card, the refund will be credited back into the account after three or four billing cycles. This is due to many refund requests for the cancelled flights. Once your refund is processed, an email will be sent to the email address registered during booking.
If payment for your booking was made using Getgo points, process refund online at bit.ly/CEBmanageflight. Log-in to your GetGo account and click Refund ticket option.
In case payment of the booking was made via a mix of GetGo points and cash/card, refund can be processed thru bit/ly/CEBrequest. You will be directed to Cebu Pacific Guest Feedback. Choose REQUEST in the dropdown opposite Type of Feedback. Then, select the category flight cancellation/ changes options. Provide all required details and click submit.
Convert to Travel Fund
If you choose to store your ticket in a travel fund, the full amount of the ticket needs to be converted to travel fund and will be valid for 180 days. This can be used to reserve any Cebu Pacific flight within 12 months.
For GetGo members, you can redeem online via Manage Booking tab. If passenger is not a GetGo member, redemption is by calling hotline at (02) 87020888 or thru Cebu Pacific ticket offices which will re-open on April 15.
Voluntary Cancellation of Flight Due to COVID-19
For guests with flights from April 15 until April 30, 2020 and do not want to continue with your flight, you have these options:
- Rebook your flight with waived change fee; fare difference may apply. There is no limit on travel validity as long as it is available on Cebu Pacific website.
- Full travel fund with extended validity to 180 days. Travel validity up to 12 months. Redemption can be done online for GetGo members and thru Cebu Pacific ticket offices and via hotline at (02) 87020888.
How to Avail Cebu Pacific Ticket Refund?
Log online at www.cebupacificair.com, then click Manage Booking tab.
Select Use your GetGo account or if not a GetGo member, use your booking details: reference number and surname of any guest in the booking.
You will be re-directed to your booking. Please check sample below.
Click Refund Ticket if you choose that option.
The refundable amount will be credited to your account within the next 2-3 billing cycles but may vary per bank. For any concern, please contact your specific bank.
