Budget airline Cebu Pacific Air issued an advisory to their clients in view of the recent declaration of Martial Law in Mindanao and the recent situation in Marawi City.
According to the airline, their Mindanao operations remain normal. Also, authorities did not impose any restrictions or limitations on air travel.
However, Cebu Pacific advise all ticket holders and passengers to allot ample travel time in going to the airports. Heavy traffic is anticipated due to numerous check points and heightened security measures put up by the authorities.
For Cebu Pacific or Cebgo guests who are flying to any Mindanao airports and worried to take their trips from May 25 to 31, 2017, you have these options:
- Rebook your flights within 30 days from original flight for free
- Place the cost of your ticket in a travel fund which you can use for future flights
For any concern, you may contact Cebu Pacific hotline at +632 7020-888.
All Cebu Pacific guests are reminded to have a valid ID to be shown during check-in boarding and avoid bringing sharp edged objects in your hand carry baggage.
Cebu Pacific has flights to these Mindanao destinations:
- Butuan
- Cagayan De Oro
- Davao
- Cotabato
- Dipolog
- General Santos
- Ozamiz
- Pagadian
- Zamboanga
- Siargao
- Surigao

Cebu Pacific hope for their client’s understanding on this situation.
